Rural Workers Dwelling, Essex

We recently secured planning permission for a rural workers dwelling in Essex.

Our client is a successful horse race trainer, but given the type of work and hours involved, it is necessary for him to live on site. He had previously tried, unsuccessfully, to secure consent for a rural workers dwelling. We were then approached to review the case. Following the review, it became clear to us that a greater level of evidential information was required to justify development. We then developed a strong justification for the proposed rural workers dwelling that was presented to the Council in the form of a new planning application, which was subsequently approved.

Rural workers dwellings always receive a significant level of scrutiny as they are often in isolated locations, where the principle of a housing development is not normally supported. As such, professional support is recommended.

We have a highly skilled Planning Team that is experienced in securing consent for rural development.
